I’ll be in Minnesota the rest of the weekend getting up with relatives and buddies, plus doing the whole Easter brunch matter. As a youngster, Easter utilized to be among my favorite vacations. Probably because I cherished all the chocolate bunnies and nice things. I believe my Mom got me an Easter basket every year until I used to be about 16… before 12 months she didn’t and I threw an entire fit. As with, I literally researched the entire house looking for my Easter container because I thought she was kidding when she stated she didn’t obtain me one. It had been such a special tradition to me and OMG the way i used to like JellyBelly beans and Reese’s eggs. Mom… still waiting for my Easter basket… you’ve still got time! HINT.

More often than not though I’m about making points for others. I really like being back because it gives me the chance to bake as much things as possible without concern with them going poor. Yesterday I made my mom skinny banana chocolates chip muffins (among her favorites) and tomorrow I’m thinking about baking a batch of cookies for some friends.

In addition, it recently occurred if you ask me that baking from the heart, whether for yourself or others, is incredibly special. Baking is both a skill and a science and like I’ve discussed earlier, just a little sweetness constantly seems to brighten any day. It really strike home with me when i was baking these cookies and so I’d love to share a little tale with you…

In the plate of a power mixer, beat almond butter, coconut sugar, egg, almond milk and vanilla until steady, about 2 minutes. Mix in dry elements with a solid wood spoon, then softly fold in chocolate chips.

Make use of cookie scoop to drop dough in prepared cooking sheet, placing them 2 inches apart. If you want fat cookies, leave them as is normally. If you want your cookies a little bit flatter, then press the dough down using the palm of the hand.
