This has been my mantra lately. Live in the moment. Do what you feel is right. Always trust your center.

I’ve been on the quest to visit even more; there’s something about any of it that feeds my spirit, filling up it with knowledge, contentment, experience and love. I am to the Caribbean, Arizona, Minnesota and Tx all within the last month. I’ve valued every moment, each flight and along the way discovered that I value experiences over points, as I understand that I’ll remember these moments so long as I live. Cheesy much? Ha.

I want to give out the last section of my visit to the Caribbean with Princess Cruises. The very first part of my trip was about the excursions and what we do at each port This time I’m excited to enable you to get a glimpse in to the food we ate and the remembrances we made together! Honestly I couldn’t have asked for an easier way to introduce Springtime.

Let me just mention that given that I home based, dressing up doesn’t happen often. I really like wearing dressing and buying an insane amount of heels; I believe I need to make Tony take me out more instead of snuggling along with some weirdo Netflix displays (lately I am into Bates Motel).

Upper correct: Fried calamari. Lower correct: Burrata salad.

Now, about the food!

There really isn’t anything bad to say about the food within the cruise ship. There was a wide array of restaurants with several different culinary styles including italian, steak and seafood, a pastry shop, pizza, gelato and coffee bars. I under no circumstances once felt limited to my dining choices, particularly when it found the buffet that was packed with fruits, veggies and freshly prepared international cuisines. DELICIOUS.

As you know, my mother came for the trip beside me. She’s mainly a vegetarian but she never experienced deprived and was always able to require things made vegetarian. The chefs had been wonderful that way.

Even in the restaurants, I could have lighter lunch time choices. This was one of my favorites – a black bean taquito like dish. These were baked rather than fried, vegetarian and full of flavor!

Another thing We loved had been able to enjoy 4 or 5 5 course meals. Seriously, it was food overload.

We also experienced the Chef’s Desk , which is an intimate dining encounter including a custom menu with wine pairings. We had been even invited into the kitchens; it had been immaculate and smelt amazing.

We were given champagne and little bites to sample while we watched them prepare pasta.

The menu was interesting and I do mean that in a great way! The chef prepared unique courses for all of us. My favorite was most likely the margarita sorbet palette cleanser… it actually experienced a tequila drizzle!

I just want to quick mention among my favorite treats too!

While at St. Maarten we got probably the most fabulous gelato; I opted for caramel and coconut. My mom got the cherry amaretto and it had been basically the Ideal gelato I’ve ever tasted in my life. Granted I haven’t gone to Italy yet.

Either way, it was a wonderful experience and We still left the island happy. My only regret is not getting out to the various other side of the island to see the real meals. I always want to enjoy food just like a regional and actually diverge myself into the culture.

While back in the ship, my two favourite go to snack foods were a little greek salad and unlimited soft serve. The salad was relaxing and fantastic with fresh shrimp. Also, I must say i had to be sure I was eating lighter lunches because of my 5 program dinners and sweets twice per day time.

Because I favor soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt, the unlimited small cones were such a nice refresher especially after laying out all day. Also… SPRINKLES!

Another amazing perk towards the cruise? Being able to meet such great bloggers! Deborah , Katrina , Julie , Brandy , Kristen , Lee (not really pictured), Shelley (not pictured) and Aida (not pictured).
